Memory

Work of abstraction on the brand of Lanificio Leo, a lamb, which is brought to the limit of recognition and becomes the minimum reproducible graphic unit. This is achieved through a contemporary interpretation of the traditional jacquard or triple (three-color) weaving technique and in particular, of jacquard cartons, perforated rectangular sheets that serve to transmit graphic information during the mechanical weaving process. In collaboration with StudioCharlie and through digitally, various perforated cards have been reproduced which, read by the shuttle looms of nineteenth-century mechanical jacquard machines, reproduce the lamb in macro or micro version and in different colors.
