Andresen, Alexandra
Art historian, specialized in the restoration of ancient books and papers, after a ten-year experience as an art editor for the Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani and a master's degree in Communication and negotiation techniques promoted by the European Social Fund, in 1999 she joined the team that gave rise to the Scuderie del Quirinale. From 2008 to 2020, head of the exhibition office of the Scuderie del Quirinale, she managed the organizational process of the temporary exhibitions. Associated since 2006 with the International Exhibition Organizers Group (IEO), from 2007 to 2015 she was a member of the European Technical Committee for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage (CEN, ComitèEuropèen de Normalization, Paris), involved in developing European Standards in the field of Cultural Properties’ transportation and packing methods. Advisor to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in 2011, for the organization of the celebratory events of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, since 2008 he has been teaching Museology at the Campus Foundation of the University of Lucca and, since 2017, Organization of projects arts and culture at the School of Specialization in Historical and Artistic Heritage of the Sapienza University of Rome. Her articles have appeared in trade magazines and in conference proceedings. She helds lectures and seminars in Italy and abroad.
