    Profile: 

    Massimiliano David is graduated in Classics and specialized in Archeology at the State University of Milan. Since 2007 he leads the Ostia Marina Project, archaeological mission of the Department of History, Cultures and Civilization of the University of Bologna in Ostia Antica. He also leads the Pal-Esa and the Melissa Projects for the knowledge of the Late Antique monumental heritage of Ravenna and the Acheloo Project in the Civitavecchia area. He is member of the Board of Professors of the Doctorate in Archeology of the Sapienza University of Rome and participates in the inter-university project on the city of Leopoli-Cencelle. He also co-directs the S-APP archaeological project for the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. He has edited and published monographs, articles, essays, in classical and post-classical archeology (about 360). He is a member of the Editorial Board of "PAST" series and of the “Temporis signa” journal.
