    Aims: 

    The course is aimed at the knowledge of the problems and methodologies of study and research concerning the European and Mediterranean Protohistory, with particular reference to issues such as the formation of complex societies, the affirmation of an articulated economy, the incipient forms of social inequality, the birth of political entities as embryonic forms of State and urbanization.

    Course organization: 

    The course includes a series of lectures, together with seminars on specific themes. It is possible to deepen the knowledge of the topics of the course by participating in the excavations directed by the teacher
