    Profile: 

    Associate Professor of Latin Epigraphy and Roman Antiquities since 2006, she has been dealing with the epigraphic material of Rome since more than twenty years, in cooperation with different institutions. In this framework, she curates the “Archivio di Epigrafia Latina Silvio Panciera”, taking care of its digitalization. As part of her commitment in the field of digital epigraphy, she is responsbile of the online epigraphic database EDR (www.edr-edr.it), partner of the international project EAGLE (Europeana network of Ancietn Greek and Latin Epigraphy: www.eagle-network.eu), of which she was scientific coordinator in the period 2013-2016. Among her research themes, there is the study of the inscriptions of the Colosseum (see the related volume of the series Epigrafia Anfiteatrale dell’Occidente Romano and a number of papers about the late Roman aristocracy), and the study of the history of epigraphy (see the edition of the epigraphic manuscripts Neap. XIII. B. 7 and XIII. B. 8 by Pirro Ligorio). She cooperates with the Museo Nazionale Romano, Parco Archeologico del Colosseo, Teatro di Roma and other projects for the dissemination of the historical and epigraphical research. Since 2017 she is President of the Association Internationale d’Epigraphie Grecque et Latine (AIEGL).
