    Annalisa Polosa is Associate Professor of Ancient Numismatics at the Department of Scienze dell’Antichità, Sapienza University of Rome. She has been contract professor at the University of Siena (Archaeology of Numismatic Production, Greek and Roman coin iconography), at Sapienza University of Rome (Ancient Metrology), at the Scuola di Alta Formazione in Architettura e Archeologia della città classica, “Mediterranea” University of Reggio Calabria.  
    She collaborated and collaborates with archaeological excavations at Sybaris (Italy), Hephaestia (Lemnos, Greece), Itanos (Crete, Greece), Gortyna (Crete, Greece),Thamusida (Morocco), Elaiussa Sebaste (Turkey) for the study of coin finds. From 2015 to 2019 she has directed Elaiussa Sebaste Excavations (Grandi Scavi, Sapienza University of Rome).
