Production of bucchero at Veio
Teacher:
The workshop offers the opportunity to work on archaic ceramic materials from the Veio excavations, with particular reference to the bucchero finds from the artisanal district of Piano di Comunità. The main objectives will be the recognition of the different production classes, ceramic forms and morphological parts of the pottery. An initial approach to the classification, cataloguing and conservation of the finds will be offered through theoretical and practical lessons.
