    Profile: 

    Alessandra Ten deals with Roman architecture and methods for ancient structures understanding through the graphical documentation aimed to analysis and virtual reconstruction of the remains. In this field she manage several research programs related to conservation and consolidation of monumental architectonical remains (Tivoli: Santuario di Ercole Vincitore; Rome: Villa di Sette Bassi, Villa e Circo di Massenzio) and reconstruction of urban ancient topography (Rome: Middle area of Campo Marzio, Western slopes of Campidoglio). She’s scientific director for the survey of remains discovered in Horrea Piperataria exacavation (Principal Investigator Prof. Domenico Palombi) and for the International Summer School at Ocriculum, promoted by Sapienza University of Rome and Italian Agency for Development Cooperation. She’s author of two books and several scientific papers. She’s Director of editorial series Misura e Spazio. Studies of Ancient Topography and Architecture (Quasar ed.) and member of editorial board of scientific department journal Scienze dell’Antichità.
