    Aims: 

    In consistency with the educational purposes of the whole teaching course, aim of the teaching unit is to give students knowledge and comprehension skills in the field of the Greek and Roman History, that complete and/or reinforce those acquired in the previous grades of studies. Moreover, it will make the students able to approach each year a fundamental issue in Greek and Roman history in a research context, providing students with an introduction to an advanced study of literary and epigraphical texts as well as their interplay with the archaeological evidence, reviewing and evaluating the modern bibliography in order to make more complex judgments and to study the subject in an independent and self-educational way.

    Course organization: 

    The course includes a series of lectures, together with seminars on specific themes.
