Overseas Program

Selection process: call for applications between October and February.

Scholarship: €700 per month for the first 5 months of mobility; from the 6th to the 12th, €500 per month.

Duration: from 3 to 12 months.

Selection criteria: academic merit, language proficiency, motivation.

Available destinations: based on agreements signed between the universities

Eligibility: a maximum of one scholarship per study cycle for a total duration of 12 months.

Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) – KA171

The Erasmus+ ICM program, funded by the European Commission, allows students and staff to spend a period of study or teaching/training in non-EU countries and vice versa. 

The ICM scholarship also covers research mobility at the PhD level.

For outgoing students:

- All scholarship holders can attend courses at the host university without paying fees.

- Sapienza will recognise all the activities abroad, as established in the Learning Agreement.

- Scholarship: 700 euros per month (plus travel expenses).

- Duration: from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 6 months.

For outgoing staff:

- Scholarship: a daily scholarship according to the provisions of the Erasmus+ ICM programme.

- Duration: from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 21 days (including the two travel days).

For incoming students:

- All scholarship holders can attend courses at the host university without paying fees.

- The home university will recognise all the Sapienza University of Rome activities as established in the Learning Agreement.

- Scholarship: 850 euros per month (plus travel expenses).

- Duration: from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 6 months.

For incoming staff:

- Scholarship: a daily scholarship of 160 euros for the maximum period allowed (plus travel expenses).

- Duration: from a minimum of 7 to a maximum of 21 days (including the two travel days).
 

 

IISMA - Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards

Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) is a scholarship scheme by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia to fund Indonesian students for a one-semester-mobility program at top universities and reputable industries overseas. IISMA will expose Indonesian students to international academic and cultural diversity by offering two schemes for undergraduate and vocational students.

Application Process and Language Requirements

 

The student can only apply to the call available for their specific Faculty and fill out the application. However, the application must be submitted well before the deadline specified in the call.
